Description
Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Energy supports cross-border infrastructure projects that contribute to EU energy and climate objectives. Priority areas: - Smart electricity grids and interconnectors - CO2 transport infrastructure - Hydrogen infrastructure (pipelines, storage) - Cross-border renewable energy projects Eligibility: - Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) or Projects of Mutual Interest (PMIs) - Cross-border dimension required - Infrastructure focus (not R&D) Funding rate: Up to 50% for works, 75% for studies Project size: Typically EUR 10-100 million PCIs for hydrogen corridors: - Nordic-Baltic Hydrogen Corridor - South-Western European Hydrogen Corridor - Iberian Peninsula - Central Europe Corridor Rolling calls - check CINEA website for current deadlines.
